Anyone renting a property from Shady Oaks is requested to read through the policies and contact us with questions.
Our rates are based on four guests only. We charge extra for each person per night of your stay. Anyone over the age of 1 is charged the regular "extra person" fee.
Cancellations made 60 or more days prior to arrival are assessed a $25.00 processing fee. When cancellations are made less than 60 days to arrival, the entire amount received for deposit is forfeited, unless we are able to fill your cancellation dates.
There is a minimum stay of 2 nights during September through May. A deposit of $100 is due upon verbal booking. After you have checked in you are responsible for the entire amount of your stay at the rental property. During the months of June, July, and August, properties rent from Saturday to Saturday, unless previous arrangements are made.
Check-in time is 2:00pm and check-out time is 10:00am. If you arrive early for your stay, please do not expect to check in until 2:00pm. For the courtesy of our next rental guests and our housekeepers, it is necessary that you leave at the prescribed check out time.
No credit will be given for early check out or for abbreviated stay. The deposit to hold your reservation is only refundable if we are able to fill your cancellation.
One pet is allowed in your cabin for an additional fee. There is a charge of $25.00 per week or $5.00 per day. If any damages are done by a pet, there will be time and materials charged. Full clean-up of hair, pet deposits, etc. is required.
