Here is how we got started at Shady Oaks.
The Big Oak and Acorn were purchased together in 1986. The first major addition to the Big Oak was the sauna and shower in the basement. The Acorn was refurbished in 1988 into what it is today. In 1990, the Owl's Roost was purchased from the former owner. In the late 90's, the basement was finished to its current decor.
We have been renting the houses to many people from all over the midwest and even as far as Louisiana and have developed many relationships over the years. We appreciate the customers that return every year and hope to continue to meet new people as word of mouth spreads.
A special thank you to our son, Eric, who developed and maintains this website to help give our customers and new prospects the ability to see more of our homes.
